Top deck on the Crystal Mozart

The crème de la crème of river ships. Stunning, glamorous design, butler service in every suite, farm to table cuisine and all-inclusive luxury. What’s not to like?

As the largest in width of any river ship, the Crystal Mozart is naturally more spacious and comfortable than all others. Crystal spared no expense in rebuilding this ship on the hull of the original Mozart. The décor throughout is both beautiful, casually elegant and functional as well.

Cuisine is superb with most ingredients sourced locally in a region known for an abundance of produce and supplies. Fish is always fresh, never frozen, and lobster is flown in once a week from either Maine or Canada. There are multiple dining options, and all are open seating. Choices include the Main Dining Room, Blu – a small café style spot located aft on the ship, and The Bistro, a tapas style restaurant which is also open throughout the day for beverages and snacks.

Reservations are suggested for dinner in either Blu or the Bistro. A 24-hour pantry located adjacent to reception offers a coffee service as well as snacks at all the times. Room service features a limited 24-hour menu as well as the option to order from the main dining room during dining hours.

Palm Court and The Piano Bar are other gathering places. The ship also features an indoor pool and whirlpool adjacent to the Spa.  There is a fitness centre with state of the art equipment as well as a beauty salon and a library.

Service is above and beyond. All staff are employees of Crystal and have been interviewed and selected by Crystal HR, not by a staffing agency. This format is very different from not only other river ships but cruise lines in general.

Port tours utilize Crystal’s own leased and branded motor coaches which are luxurious.  These standard size coaches feature only 40 seats, versus the normal 52-56.  They are extremely comfortable with amazing leg room. Coaches are also equipped with a coffee machine as well as a lavatory.

Shore excursions are conducted with excellent quality audio headphones, so you can hear your guide easily even if you are not standing right next to them.

Suites are well designed, and décor is clean, crisp and functional.  Suites on Deck 1 feature French balconies and some include bathtubs in addition to showers. Showers are well designed and fairly “roomy”.  Suites on Deck 2 have windows only.

All suites have butler service in addition to your suite housekeeper.

Crystal offers a true “all inclusive” experience – All meals, unlimited premium beverages including champagne, fine wine and spirits, all gratuities for shipboard staff, 24 hour unlimited satellite WiFi, as well as fitness and yoga classes and much more!

For discoveries ashore, Crystal Adventures will offer at least two complimentary guided excursions in every port of call.

Isn’t it time you experienced the Crystal Mozart?
