October 27, 2017 – Brian Robertson, president of Vision Travel Solutions, is delighted to announce that Ellie MacPherson, senior vice-president of Strategic Meetings + Incentives, a part of Vision, has been elected to the International Board of SITE, the worldwide Society for Incentive Travel Excellence.
“This is a huge accolade for Ellie whose expertise, we are sure, will bring a tremendous level of dedication and knowledge to the board,” says Robertson. The SITE board currently features 14 members from nine different countries ranging from Italy to China and now including Canada.
MacPherson, who has been with SM+i for 11 years, has been a member of SITE for 15 years and served on the association’s Canadian board for the past six. As she says: “It’s a great honour to be elected by my SITE colleagues from around the world. I’m looking forward to serving the association which has brought so much education and fellowship to all of us in the incentive travel industry.” MacPherson’s goals include furthering the case for incentive travel as a proven business strategy as well as creating continued educational and certification opportunities for members.
